Arcade Beauty’s target is not only to optimize its energy consumption and direct greenhouse gases (GHG) emissions but also to reduce its indirect impact on climate. As Arcade Beauty operates numerous plants across the globe, evaluating climate-related physical risks is important in determining appropriate adaptation strategies.
We aim to reach the following SBTi aligned climate management targets by 2029-30:
Scope 1 & 2
42% reduction of Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions (tCO2 eq) by 2030; 1,5° SBT; base year 2021
Scope 3
Onboarding all strategic customers & suppliers into Science-Based Targets (SBT) by 2029.
Waste Reduction and Management in the Supply Chain
Reducing waste throughout the value chain is one of the focuses of all industrial plants, as they monitor, track, and report consumption, recycling, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste. We aim to decrease the waste intensity and increase the amount of waste valorized throughout production.
